Couch to Climbing
Couch to Climbing is a short course combining strength and conditioning, and yoga and Pilates to get you fighting fit for your first session back on the wall.
This is a comprehensive short course, developed by our in-house pros, gives you the tools you need to return to the walls feeling confident and strong. This course contains four premium, cross training method classes, which will support your climbing progression in strength, flexibility, mobility and stability.
What you get in this course:
- A training plan document of how to approach this course. This will give you a rough schedule of how to use these classes most effectively, and gives you a training structure to stick to.
- A 30 minute strength focused AMRAP class with Calum, which builds all over body strength and power.
- A 45 minute yoga for climbers class with Di, focusing on specific flexibility techniques and how to utilise them on the wall.
- A 60 minute Pilates class with Zoe, which will strengthen your core and your whole central column. This class will help you build stability and help prevent injury.
- A 30 minute body conditioning class with Calum, a low intensity workout which builds mobility and endurance.
